I’d like to introduce myself as the new Marketing Intern for TwoGuys!
After touching down from a four month exchange at the University of Windsor in Canada I will return to the University of Derby this September to complete my final year of my degree in Marketing and Media Studies.
This position at TwoGuys allows me to put this creativity and two years of marketing study into practice, working on marketing strategy, integration and the digital footprint of a number of businesses in the local area.
From a young age I have had a growing passion for film which has lead to me creating and sharing short films on my YouTube channel, most recently documenting my travels abroad: http://alicewfilms.tumblr.com/
My time in Canada allowed me to learn more about international business for a class project myself and a team of students created an integrated marketing communications plan for Business Development Bank of Canada. I was also taught by a professional director and producer and being was given the chance to write and direct my first professional short film with a full crew.
Outside of my work a major hobby of mine is music, I have been playing drums from the age of 14 which has lead me to play in a number of bands in Derby. I also enjoy going to gigs and music festivals throughout the year with friends and find this is the best way for me to discover new and upcoming artists.
